Description: This is a book cover recreation of one of one of my favorite vintage paperback cover artists Robert Maguire. The painting is on a wooden box in the shape of a book. The cover image is of a Vintage Signet paperback “The Bad Blonde". Maguire did a series of covers with black backgrounds and deep shadows, highlighting gorgeous women emerging into the light. This is a beautiful image with great composition, even the simple lettering works on this one. The back cover features a portion of the same image in monotone. Original Maguire Art has gotten out of range for most collectors, I hope my cover is a good alternative! The book sells for more than what I'm asking for this recreation! My recreations have been published on book covers and one was featured in "Dames, Dolls and Delinquents" by Gary Lovisi. I am always working on another cover so be sure to check my listing again!
