Description: Cute vintage toy with birds that animate a pecking action when the strings are tugged. This appears to be a version of this toy that had a bit more craftpersonship than others in that the handle is attached with a wooden screw peg. The toy has antique wear and tear, but all of the birds have the sides of the heads present (you might see that they are missing in some cases in other listings). At least two of the strings need replacing and it is also missing the suspended wooden ball/weight that would be used to create the pecking action. The wooden disc is 5.75" in diameter.Great item for a collection or just as a conversation piece to display.
