Description: Selling my dad's old record player, original needle, hardly used... and it's in great shape! Very Good condition gem of a 1978/1979 Pioneer PL-630 Direct Drive Turntable. These are highly desirable with its Quartz lock mechanism.All modes/functions work properly, very smooth and controlled arm action. All display lights and meter are functional and responsive. All original turntable components; including dust cover, magnesium head shell and cartridge. Cosmetically the dust cover has some light scratches and small crack near the left hinge, a few small blemishes/scratches on the turntable body.Everything works great with this turntable as it should on quartz lock but without quartz lock the speed is unsteady and fluctuates which is pretty common on this model.
