Description: Vintage Pioneer SX-550 Stereo Receiver Powers Up Parts Only VIDEO DEMO! 🎥📺✅ This receiver needs a full restoration. It's missing both the wood side pieces but the screws that hold them on are included. I was able to power it on and use the FM tuner. The tuner meter moves like it should and the Stereo lamp comes on. The tuning knob turns smoothly and the needle moves as it should across the dial. I tested the phono input but it has a hum/buzz along with the music. I tested the Aux input and the volume is lower than it should be, basically it started out loud but decreased in volume during testing. I tested both sets of Speakers and got them all working but you have to sometimes press on the speaker output area to get them to work on the B channel sometimes. There is corrosion on the back and bottom of the unit. The face has scratches and is missing the treble knob. The Function knob is a little hard to turn but you are able to change it from AM, to FM to Phono and Aux. I did not test the headphone out. This is being sold as if for parts or repair. No returns.
