Always stored, kept in non-smoking homes. The PLAYBILLS are souvenirs from our suburban family’s theater outings to the “Great White Way”. Specific descriptions of each PLAYBILL are as follows: AN EVENING WITH MIKE NICHOLS AND ELAINE MAY - (The John Golden Theatre - week of April 3, 1961 – Vol. 5, No. 14, 40 pages). CONDITION: VG+. ½” tear notch, top of page 3. Front & Back Covers, and all remaining interior pages are intact, with no creases, tears, bends, or folds. Spine is intact and firm, attached by the two (2) original staples (no rust). The three (3) full page color advertisements (inside Front Cover and Back Cover) are in excellent condition. Colors have remained rich and vibrant. There are no ownership markings or writings. Feature Article – Seven Acres of Cars, Ethel Norling, pages 5-9. TAKE ME ALONG - (Sam S. Shubert Theatre - week of March 21, 1960 – Vol. 4, No. 13, 36 pages). CONDITION: GOOD. Jackie Gleason / Walter Pidgeon / Robert Morse / Eileen Herlie / Valerie Harper. All interior pages are intact, with no creases, tears, bends, or folds. Spine is intact and firm, attached by the two (2) original staples (no rust). Front Cover – ¾” tear, lower left corner; slight tear / crease in upper left corner. Back Cover – two (2) tears – 5” & 1.5” triangular (see photo). The full color, two (2) page, centerfold ad for Rheingold Beer, featuring Miss Reingold 1960 is in excellent condition, with colors still rich and vibrant. There are no ownership markings or writings. Feature Article – The Theatre in Print, pages 3-5. THE MUSIC MAN - (Majestic Theatre - week of February 22, 1960 – Vol. 4, No. 9, 44 pages). CONDITION: VG+. Eddie Albert / Robert Gorman / The Buffalo Bills / Arlyne Frank. All interior pages are intact, with no creases, tears, bends, or folds. Spine is intact and firm, attached by the two (2) original staples (no rust). Front Cover – two (2) small tears at page bottom (see photo). The two (2) color Back Cover ads (Seagram’s & Chesterfield) & inside three (3) full page color ads (Revlon centerfold, pages 23-24 & Miss Rheingold 1960, page 21) have remained rich and vibrant. There are no ownership markings or writings. Feature Article – Russians in the Audience, Part II, Stuart Little, pages 3-7, 35-39. Also contains a color, double-sided, loose insert advertisement for Kenneth Haigh in “Caligula” (see photo). A MAN FOR ALL SEASONS - (Anta Theatre - week of February 19, 1962 – Vol. 6, No. 8, 44 pages). CONDITION: VG+. Paul Schofield / Thomas Gomez / George Rose / Keith Baxter. Front Cover and all interior pages are intact, with no creases, tears, bends, or folds. Back Cover has 3.5” slight crease in lower left corner (see photo). Spine is intact and firm, attached by the two (2) original staples (no rust). The three (3) full page color advertisements (Hertz, Lord Calvert & L&M - inside Front Cover and Back Cover) have remained rich and vibrant. There are no ownership markings or writings.
