Description: Up for sale is this single-bit axe head. Overall very good condition. There’s a little mushrooming on the but. The blade is dull but in very good candidate for a quality sharpening. The only markings on the head is uppoer case “P” that you can see in some of the photos. I was told that Plumb did that rarely on some of the heads. The length of the head is 6 3/4 in. The blade length is 4 1/4 in. The axe weighs 2 lbs., 13 oz. The axe head has been cleaned and Fluid Film was applied. Fluid Film is a lanolin-based non-toxic rust & corrosion protectant.
