The imprinted emblem on the skirt of the Welsh Lady depicts a plume of three ostrich feathers within the royal coronet; it also includes the motto “Ich Dien” (I serve) and the year 1969 (the year of his investiture). This is one of two pie birds that were created by (Brian) Sutherland Pottery and were in production for only one year. She measures 4” tall and is the larger of the two.
