Description: Vintage Pyrex Round Woven Basket With Handles For 2 qt Casserole Dish 024-624-684. This beautiful woven basket is quite heavy with a wooden base that is a good quarter of an inch thick and 8.5" around the very bottom wood. It is stamped on the bottom: MADE FOR PYREX BRAND 024 624 684 and right below that it says: CORNING NY USA. The weave is half inch wide going around basket and the top has a very thick round almost grapevine look to top 4 rows to finish it off. There are 2 leather handles on either side of basket 6" wide and 1" tall tacked on by two metal rivets. Simply marvelous if you have a love for baskets. There are no broken slats anywhere and I do not see any cracks on any either. It has sat on my shelf as a decoration for years.
