Description: I'm the original owner, purchased these in 1977. They still sound great after almost 50 years. These are the Nova 8's , not the Nova 8b's, which from what I can tell the only diff was the toggle switch on the B's vs the rheostat knobs for the crossovers that I have. Made in Japan, 10" woofers, 2 3" mids and a 3" tweeter per cab. Plastic grills, no rips or tears in the cloth, walnut cabs- One cab has a lighter shade than the other but they were a matching pair when I bought them in 77. One woofer was replaced by Radio shack(lifetime warranty) after blowing it at a Frat party my Sr year at MTSU. It appears the woofer surrounds which are rubber were coated in some butyl sealant to keep them pliable. When I removed the grills I noticed some of the sealant had leaked down(see pic) but apparently doesn't affect how they sound. They have special wall mount hooks attached on the back which I used to wall-mount them but those will be removed and included if desired .If you're into vintage stereo speakers these will fit the bill.
