Description: Vintage RARE RICOH APEX, Day/Date, Cal. 83, 17 Jewels Automatic with quick set date, all stainless steel, C. 1960’s, Working. This is not a Mumbai special! This is an original rare Ricoh Apex model with an all stainless steel case with original signed crown. The quick set date feature works by pulling the crown to the second setting and by pushing it back in the date changes. Please do not use this feature between 9pm and 3am. The dial is original, untouched and in pristine condition. The silver hour markers and hands are clean, shiny and in mint condition. All the lettering is sharp. The original tri-faceted crystal is in very good condition with a tiny mark by the 12h position. The Milanese mesh band is NOS, stamped Stainless Steel, Japan. This is a vintage watch without service records. I cannot guarantee the accuracy, longevity or waterproofing and should be serviced by a competent watchmaker.
