Description: Vintage Rivetz of Boston All Silk Paisley Tie. Soft gold woven silk with a large paisley pattern in maroon, ochre, orange and dark brown/maroon. Lined with off-white. This is a wide tie at 4 1/8", and a long tie, especially for the time period, at 63"long. Labeled Rivetz of Boston, Hand Block Printed in England, All Silk, and a store tag of Baskin, which I believe was a Chicago department store. Small tag, $8.50, WPL 8761, Tall Man Tie. Made by A. Rivetz, Co. Inc. which was located at 100 Chauncy St. Boston. Pre-owned mod vintage silk tie in a long length in very good, clean condition. Looks rarely worn. Please see photos for details.
