The outside is weathered but has a "look" that only continually after many years of wear can do. I've taken a lot of pictures, to show wear. For the most part, any blemishes are on the inside, with the exception of one tear on one of the sleeves (pictured). The lining has torn in certain areas such as the cuffs and the hem on the inside. You cannot see any of it while wearing it. Very substantial and heavy. Suitable to wear while riding a motorcycle for protection or trying to find a lost treasure. 48 chest
