Description: Vintage Robie SR 60-2398 Robot Radio Shack For Parts Repair Not Working READ! This item was really dirty. I wiped it down a little but there is still plenty of dirt in the cracks and crevices. One thing to note. On the back of the robot there are 3 screws on the left and 3 on the right. In 4 or 5 of these holes dirt/mud daubers had built nests. I attempted to remove them and ended up spending way more time on it than I wanted. Once I started removing them they had a foul odor. It could definitely use a more thorough cleaning as could the entire robot. There is no battery for the robot and the spot where the AA battery goes has major corrosion. Also the bar that holds the rechargeable battery is missing. The tape head also appears to have some sort of build or rust on it. These are just the issues I noticed. Could be many more besides the ones I saw. Selling this AS-IS.
