Description: Vintage Rocky Mountain Vertex 19” Frameset W Lots of RaceFace Parts Etc . Condition is Used. Shipped with tracking number included Selling a vintage Rocky Mountain Vertex 19” size aluminum frameset for 26” wheels size . 1 1/8 threadless steertube. Rim brake only, no disk brake mount, but front shocks have disk brake mount. Comes as shown in pictures with all parts shown in pictures included in the sale . See pictures and descriptions for condition Includes frame, fork, headset, stem, seatpost, seatclamp, bottom bracket, crankset and chainrings, front derailleur, and derailleur hanger Here is what I know about the bike. I purchased it from the original owner. He was working at a bike shop, and bought the bike as a frameset from Rocky Mountain, had it repainted and added decals. It is not the original paint or decals. Was told it is a Vertex and appears to be from my knowledge, but if it is not, feel free to correct me ! The bike was always stored indoors and showing zero rust or oxidation on the frame or parts. Appears to have never been taken off road or done any serious mountain biking with . I only used it one summer for a few short paved road rides since my ownership. Original owner had not ridden it in years when I purchased it Frame is in excellent condition with no cracks, dents , or damage showing . Derailleur hanger is straight, no damage to dropouts, seat collar or brake mounts. A few very small paint chips or paint wear in areas but still showing very well, could probably be touched up . Decals in great condition with exception of a few scratches on left side . Super clean and in very nice condition for its age ! Manitou Mars 26” disk/rim brake suspension forks Comp Coil w Microlube are in very excellent condition. Fully functional and working great, however service history is unknown. No missing parts, no dents or damage. A few minor scratches on decals but no paint chips . Dropouts in excellent condition with no damage. Very nice clean condition shocks, showing very well Rare RaceFace Green Anodized color 1 1/8 threadless headset is in excellent condition, showing little to no scratches, and working as it should . Nice retro piece ! RaceFace System 1 1/8 threadless stem is in excellent condition and fully functional with no missing parts . A few minor scratches but otherwise no damage and excellent condition Rare RaceFace Red Anodized 1. 375 - 24T marked sealed bottom bracket is in excellent condition, includes crank bolts, and spins smooth with no bearing play . Another very cool piece ! RaceFace Next Carbon 175 mm triple crankset w 44/32/22T RaceFace chainrings is in excellent condition too. Crank arms have a few paint chips and scratches in areas but still show well although RaceFace decals are mostly worn off. Crank threads, pedal threads, and square tapers all in good condition with no damage. All chainrings are straight and in decent condition, but showing a bit of shifting rash and chain wear on the large and middle ring. Overall In good used condition Rocky Mountain branded 27.2 mm alloy seatpost in good condition, fits the frame but not era correct. Fully functional with no missing parts though Seatclamp and Allen pinch bolt is in good condition and fully functional, also not original or Era correct, but does fit the bike Front derailleur Shimano FD-M290 top pull works perfectly on the bike for all 3 rings . No rust, damage, or missing parts, fully functional and in great condition Very cool lightweight vintage frameset with lots of very nice parts included to get your project started !
