Description: For sale is a vintage handmade genuine rose petal rosary with a Saint Teresa 3rd class relic in the centerpiece.This item is made from genuine crushed/pressed roses and still has a faint scent of roses. When stretched out, this rosary measures approx. 18 1/2" long and the crucifix is 1 5/8" high. The crucifix is made of wood and metal. The rosary centerpiece is made of metal and has a Saint Teresa 3rd class touch relic inside it. The cloth relic inside this centerpiece was touched to a 1st or 2nd class relic of Saint Teresa. It may have been touched to her tomb reliquary or a piece of her clothing etc... There is a plastic-like coating covering and protecting the relic. The words surrounding the relic translate from Spanish to "Relic of St. Teresa." This item is vintage and has a lot of age and wear. Some of the rose beads have imperfections,are misshapen, have flat surfaces, and are irregular in shape. Also, some of the beads have ground-in dirt. Genuine rose petal rosaries are very delicate and cannot get wet. Perspirationfrom the hands is OK though. See photos for details.Thank you for looking! (332)
