The bottom edge of the outer sleeves read “Entered According to Act of Congress, in the Year 1874, by W. N. Bartholomew in the Office of the Librarian of Congress at Washington”. The cards included are; 3 cards from “Series 1”(cards # 3,6&7), 6 cards from “Series 2” (cards # 1, 2, 3, 5, 8 & 10), and 6 cards from “Series 3” (cards # 1,2,3,4,5&10). Also included are 2 outer envelope sleeves from card series #1 & #3. The last items included are; 4 cards from “School and Family Slate Cards, 1st Series (cards# 8, 9, 11&12). All of the cards are showing wear, use, bends, creases, dirt, minor missing edges on some, scuffs and scratches, overall good condition. The items pictured are the items you are bidding on.
