Description: This is a lot of two vintage Schrade penknives - each with the pre-1973 SCHRADE WALDEN NY USA tang stamp.Each knife as follows: SCHRADE WALDEN NY USA, pattern # 778 STAINLESS.2-7/8” closed (plus bail) “Senator Penknife” pattern.Stainless steel blades.Strong snap on both blades, no wobble.Smooth metal handles have minor rub marks, light scratches.On each knife, the blade and file are mint – never used or sharpened, original factory finish and edge.Blade/file on each have minor tarnish, minor rub marks.One knife is a giveaway to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Miracle Whip in 1973. The other is an advertising knife for ORTHO DIAGNOSTICS.
