VINTAGE SELMER SIGNET 100 WOOD Bb SOPRANO CLARINET

Check out my other items!Be sure to add me to your favorites list!This listing is for a vintage Selmer (USA) Signet 100 Bb soprano clarinet. This is a wood, intermediate level instrument. It is being sold as is for repair/restoration, or parts. It is not currently in playing condition and would need a full overhaul (new pads, corks, and possibly additional repairs) to be made playable. It is in overall very good physical condition. I don't see any cracks or past crack repairs. There are no chips to the tenons or tone holes. There is a minor 'tear' in the metal cap on one of the tone holes. There are scratches/scuffs to the wood body from normal use. The wood definitely needs a good cleaning and oiling. The bell flare and tenon rings are all tight. The keys are all moving freely and rebounding properly when released. The nickel plating is almost fully intact. There is minor wear at a few high contact points. It has dulled with age. It should polish back to a nice luster if you so desired. The pads are completely shot. The corks (both key and tenon) will also need to be replaced. This instrument comes in its original plastic shell case. The case is solid, with minimal wear and tear. There is no damage to the outer plastic shell. The interior is odor free.
