Description: THANKS FOR CHECKING OUT MY AUCTION. PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION AND MY POLICIES BEFORE PLACING YOUR BID. Check out my other items! Be sure to add me to your favorites list! This listing is for a vintage Selmer (Paris) mouthpiece for tenor saxophone. This is one of several variations on the "Air Flow" model. These were made in the 1930's, coinciding with the Balanced Action model saxophone. This has a very large round chamber and deeply scooped inner side walls. The tip opening measures .065", but it has quite obviously been refaced. The marking on the table is not readable, so I'm not sure what the original facing was. I also have no idea who did the work, and it was likely done quite a long time ago. It looks like quality work, but since it was done by someone unknown you might want to have it checked over by a trusted mouthpiece refacer and corrected if necessary. This mouthpiece is in good physical condition. The facing is perfectly smooth. There are no tooth indentations on the beak. There are no cracks, chips, or other damage. The rubber has mild fading/discoloration. There are minimal light ligature scratches/scuffs on the top of the body. It has been cleaned/sanitized. Please feel free to email me with any questions. Thanks again for looking! CElot-16
