Description: An absolutely gorgeous pair of HEAVY vintage lead crystal candlesticks measuring 10" tall in excellent condition without box. They are very sturdy with 3-5/8" square base and a solid art form pillar. These were made by Shannon Crystal Designs of Ireland, are 24% lead crystal. The Irish crystal process was patented in the 17th century; Irish craftsmen had access to white sand that allowed the clear look of crystal. Shannon is now a department of Waterford. They display beautifully.
