Description: This is a very elegant Vintage ensemble, a silk cap sleeved sheath with a matching wrist length sleeved jacket, with two pockets and frog closures. The lining is a lime green satin which matches the color of the material used to make the outfit. But this green is very subdued since the material is also emblazoned with gold metal threads which embroider the stylized leaf and bell flower motif. There are tiny hints of blue and pink to subtlety define the motif shapes. The piece was made in Hong Kong by Carven Inc. Custom Tailors. I believe it to be close to a size 16. The dress is 41 inches long from the back, neck zipper to the hem.. Bust is 20 inches across below sleeve with darts sloping up about 4 inches below armpit. The jacket has 19 inch sleeves and is 21 inches in length from the neck to hem. Catch the light with this bit of extravagance this holiday season.(The photography has not done credit to the shimmering quality of the outfit.)
