It is a four pull spyglass and is absolutely ready for immediate use or can be placed on display. BRAND: Simmons MANUFACTURED: Japan MATERIAL: Brass (Spyglass), Leather (Case) OPTICS: 25x30mm MEASURES: 14.5” length CONDITION: Lens is completely free and clear of any and all scratches, no mold, there is the faintest smallest spec near the Japan side. The casing does have some scratching and scuffing around the individual four pull sections in various places but they are mostly minimal in nature. Threading is perfect for both end pieces of viewport and lens. Leather case shows minimum signs of wear. Due to the age of this piece and in comparison to other spyglasses of the same age I must say that this is VERY GOOD to NEAR MINT condition (depending on your classifications) with the case also following suit in that manner.
