Handles have springs and clip on to each side to lift off counter or table. The back of each handle is embossed with Patent number 2.553, 908 then the word Sizzle 4 Man Made. Then directions – detach handles place food on platter and broil in oven when ready remove platter and attach handles then serve sizzling hot at your table from the same platter. This lifts the tray approximately a half inch off the ground at the well part of the tray, or the lowest part of the tray where the liquid drips. The inside has a design with flowers and leaves.
