Description: This auction is for a Vintage Spanish Colonial Gothic Black Wrought Iron Hanging Light Fixture with green plastic inner shade and large white glass globe with metalwork finial at the bottom. The body of the light from the top loop to the bottom finial is 24". So, my first photo with it hanging, is basically the 24" of the light. The chain that is attached to the canopy that goes down to the loop at the top of the fixture is 18" long. The canopy is approx. 5 5/8" in diameter. The opening at the bottom of the metalwork outer frame is approx. 17 1/2" in diameter. The diameter of the green plastic shade's bottom opening is approx. 14 3/4". The glass globe is approx. 7 1/2" in diameter. This does light up great, I am not sure if wiring is original. Standard bulb is not included. The metal areas do have some overall rust, not so much on the canopy or the outside areas, but mostly on the inner sides and underneath of the metal scrolls. I think it adds to the old-world look, but this would be very easy to repaint. The green shade has no cracks or breaks and could be easily removed or replaced to match your decor, The glass globe has no cracks or breaks-the opening at the bottom that is hidden under the bottom finial hardware is a bit crude-it is not seen when displayed. One of the screws that holds the globe in place has been replace with a newer one. I will package this with great care, you will have to put the finial back on the white globe and re-attached the globe into the fixture when delivered.
