Description: Lovely vintage Stangl Wren bird figure #3401 4.75” tall. This is a hand painted and well detailed ceramic piece. It has the 1960’s brownish stamp, and decorator initials MS for Maisie Swan Boat and incised number. Colors are vibrant, not drab. This was made from 1942-1978 according to the Collectors Encyclopedia of Stangl by Robert C. Runge. Condition is very good, clean and shiny, no chips, cracks or flakes. Nice find for your collection!
