Description: This is a charming vintage handmade tablecloth. It was done before 1950s. This is truly unique piece. Besides being handmade, hand embroidered and hand crocheted and fine cut work, this tablecloth demonstrates rare appliqué technique, when flowers were cut from fabric and hand sewn to the tablecloth. The person doing it used different colors of fabric to make flowers looking natural and alive. Look at the back side of tablecloth, it shows how intricate this work is. Shape is oval, edges are scalloped. Size: 82x70 in. My dining table is square and it fits square table perfectly. Fabric: looks like 100% cotton, it’s thinner than linen. Condition: great vintage condition, no holes, there're hardly visible yellowish spots all around the tablecloth, they are almost invisible because of multicolor embroidery. I didn’t remove them because bleaching destroys fabric.
