Description: This beautiful decanter is a great piece of Americana and Texas history! It is in great condition with no exterior blemishes, cracks, chips, etc. Here are more details:This porcelain decanter titled "The Alamo" and made for the Texas 1836-1986 Sesquicentennial. Made by premier porcelain and pottery firm W L Weller. The piece stands at 8 3/4" tall from top of lid to bottom of decanter, and 3 3/4" round at the widest point. All of the exterior is in perfect condition with bright colorful graphics depicting The Alamo, portraits of William Travis, Jim Bowie, Davy Crockett and James Bonham, the state of Texas with a star in the center, information on the battle at The Alamo, and so much more. A bright and shiny gold trim adorns the base, top and lid areas of the decanter. And a bright blue star is centered in the middle of the lid. The interior cork stopper has been glued together but works perfectly and can't be seen when in place. I will very carefully package and ship this great decanter using USPS Priority Mail medium box.
