Description: Vintage George Lawrence Co Model 549 leather shoulder holster. Based on company stamp and snap label this rig dates to the 1960's. Holster is right hand draw and model number shows it was made for Smith & Wesson K frame combat magnum with 4" barrel or similar. The holster is closed-end with a strong internal retention steel spring band. The holster was well cared for and shows very little signs of wear for it's age. The beautiful light brown leather is soft, free from any cracking or stains and the stitching is solid. The holster and straps shown in the photos are exactly what you will receive, The straps are adjustable, you will just need to secure the straps to the holster with your own rawhide lacing. I'm a big fan of the vintage Geo. Lawrence leather holsters - I just don't have a revolver that fits this particular holster.
