Description: To Infinity and Beyond! Welcome to our listing for this premium from Cheerios, a booklet/leaflet entitled The Space Shuttle Adventure" and features an article on the Columbia. Dates back to 1981. Has been in a smoke-free home. PLEASE READ BELOW ON ITEMS SPECIFICS- USED AND WORN. This is from my childhood- our family ordered it from General Mills. The booklet was done in collaboration with Rockwell International 38+ years ago. (Rockwell, per the booklet, was NASA's prime contractor for the space shuttle). Really cool (albeit used) ephemera! This listing is for the booklet only- and it is well worn and "colored" on the activity pages. One page was torn and 'repaired' with vintage scotch tape (SEE PHOTO #5). It is a nice reminder of the glorious days of the Space Shuttle program (and years before the Challenger disaster). (From Back Cover: Pub 3543-G 7-81). CONDITION SPECIFICS: Well worn. Has all pages in place. Cover has large crease/fold. Activity Pages colored and filled in (Name the Shuttle Parts, Amazing Tile Game and Space Puzzler), creasing in various locations. Page 10 was torn and repaired in vintage scotch tape long ago). Binding is worn and pulling in areas. Original staples in place but also pulling a bit from the booklet. Overall creasing. Has a lot of character overall for content and is complete with all pages. Delightful illustrations and "Meet the Crew" Page of Astronauts Young, Crippen, Engle and Truly along w a condensed "timeline" of milestones in space exploration. Has been in stored in smoke-free home. Would be a great addition to any space exploration collection or as a gift to a lover of NASA, Space, planetary exploration, history buff and more.
