Description: Vintage Tin Litho Jaguar XK120 Roadster Friction Powered Toy Car Made In Japan - This is a very nice Japanese tin Jaguar XK120 toy car from the 1950's or early 60's- This toy is unbranded, so I do not know the maker. It only says "Made in Japan" which is where most tinplate toys of this era were made- This car is in very good condition with some light age related wear- The rubber tires are in good original condition, but only one of the 4 original tin hubcaps remains- Aside from the hubcaps, the car is complete with all other original parts- The windshield is intact with no cracks or chips- The original red paint is in very good condition with only light age related wear- The lithographed interior is nicely detailed and the steering wheel is present and intact- The grille, headlights, and bumpers show some tarnish/ patina from age- The black painted chassis is in good condition with only light age related wear- The friction motor works and drives the front wheels- This car measures 5-3/4" long This is a very nicely detailed toy car and a nice replica of the iconic and beautiful Jaguar XK.
