Description: Vintage Toshiba Clock Radio Model RC-8500 AM/FM. This clock radio is probably from the late 1970s or 1980s. By no means is this item in new condition. It has clearly been used. The radio powers on and I was able to tune in AM and FM stations. You should expect the volume knob to be scratchy when adjusted considering it's likely 40+ years old. All lights and digits seem to work fine, I was able to set the time and the alarm. However you should still consider that this is probably 40+ years old. The battery compartment is open and clean and it appears as though it never had a cover. It seems the 9 volt battery has a friction fit in the opening. I should have taken pictures with the time showing and the light on the radio. I will add those pictures and remove this message when I do. Please message me with any questions you have before purchase. With all this being said I will offer returns if you pay the shipping. I am doing everything I can to be up-front about the condition.
