Description: A very unique, unknown indigenous design, hand made canoe paddle/oar. I believe it to be utilitarian in craftsmanship rather than tourist trade since the paddle and handle are torqued separately for efficiency in paddling in water. (see photos for degree of torquing) There appears to be no damage and possibly it’s been stained, but not sure and the wood is unknown to me. Very interesting paddle design and no straight line work or makers mark. My extensive internet research brought up no similar designs, so I have no clue on what country of origin or its age. Those experienced who collect this type of item would know the origins. See photos as part of the description. I do not accept returns and I’ve listed everything I know about this item,so if you have any questions then by all means ask them prior to placing your bid.
