Description: This auction is for a 3 1/2" figural, unsigned CORO, brooch. The design is a carnation with white enamel on the petals and highlights of crystal rhinestones and silver metal in the center of the flower and at the base of the flower and the bud. The leaves also have some stones where the leaves curl under (on the underside) and in the "ribbon" that is wrapped around the stems. The enamel has some wear where the metal is raised, like in the center of the petal in the center and on some of the raised edges. The paint appears to be original to the piece, so the wear is expected from a brooch that is approximately 80 years old. Beautiful figural brooch!
