Description: Estate jewelry, as found: this is an unbelievable set-very high quality Victorian Revival slide NECKLACE (super hard to find) and screw back earrings set. The glass scarab stones are super beautifully detailed-far superior to any I’ve seen before. The slides are gorgeous, minimal wear, again, designer quality costume jewelry, but unsigned. This set may even be European. I would date it to late 1930s/very early 1940s. The prongs around the scarab on the clasp have some verdigris, and the only real plating loss is on the chain. It was probably sprayed with perfume a few times. The earrings are bright as well. Just about 15” long, the earrings are 3/4”. In otherwise very good vintage condition.
