Vintage WEISS Marked Authentic Crescent Earrings 1-1/4" Aurora Borealis 1950s

Description: This is a pair of beautiful 1-1/4" earrings from Weiss, marked and authentic. They are formed in a crescent with a central large Aurora Borealis and several other crystals with terrific shine and sparkle. They are multi-color with large red and orange and tiny green crystals. The colors are iridescent; that is, they seem to change from different angles. Weiss seems to have been one of the earliest jewelers to use Swarovski’s new Aurora Borealis crystals, invented in 1955. The earrings belonged to one of my aunts and the mid-1950s date makes sense. Questions are always welcomed. The Fine Print: On Shipping: I ship USPS Ground Advantage and sometimes USPS Priority for fragile items. Fragile shipments will be very well packed and usually insured. "Free shipping" is a misnomer - the expense has to be factored into the offering price - but as a buyer, I prefer to see the total cost up front.
