Please come back often, as we are always buying more goodies to list on ebay. This listing is for a lovely, vintage women's La Marque, manual wind watch. This is a beautiful watch! It has an interesting octagonal shape, and the dial is a sort of grayish-olive green color. The watch is in very good vintage condition and is running at the time of writing this listing. Note that very good vintage condition is not the same as new. There are some signs of wear and age, mainly in the form of mild surface scuffs on the case and crystal. The watch could also use professional cleaning around crevices of the band, crystal, and case. Based on style and color, my assumption is that this watch was made in the 1970s - early 80s. It looks like some my mother used to wear, and I'm a child of the 70s/80s. The watch seems to be running well. It winds easily and ticks continuously, however, I haven't tested it's time keeping accuracy. Since the watch is running, I'm hesitant to open the case and remove the movement for fear of damage. I usually video my vintage watches running, but this watch has no second hand, so it's difficult to do this. It's always hard to know what you get with a vintage watch, since I have no idea of the watch's maintenance or history. You are buying the watch AS IS. However, I will check to see that it is still running before shipping and if it isn't, then I will contact the buyer to give them the option of backing out of the sell. Once the watch is shipped, the sell is final with no returns. I encourage buyers to factor in the cost of servicing when buying vintage watches. I also encourage buyers to have their vintage watch service shortly after purchase to ensure its continued working condition, especially if the watch is intended for daily wear.
