Description: Vintage 1970s woven tapestry. 90% wool. 10% nylon. Made in Mexico. Condition is good for a vintage woven piece. There are two areas with slight flaws. The top center has a piece (one of the black birds) that has come slightly undone. Appears to have been caught on something. But it is easily concealed when hung. Some of the fringes are a bit unraveled… not noticeable when hung. And there is a red stain at the bottom on one side that did not come out in the wash. This is washable in Delicates cycle with cold water and mild detergent. I didn’t want to scrub. The landscape is a tropical beach with surfer vibes. The design is the same on the back. The palm trees have openings on both sides as shown in pics (designed that way, not flaws). The back still has a vintage tag on it and you can see the yellowing caused by age. You can cut this off and choose to hang it showing that side and then there is no stain at all. Measurements without fringe: 44” long 21” wide Most vintage/antique items show normal signs of age/ wear. I consider these imperfections to be patina and character.
