The scene on the pitcher shows a gathering of people outside of a building, possibly a Tavern with the Star of David on the roof. The people are happy and having a celebration or just enjoying themselves. The pitcher is dark Majolica yellow with the robin egg blue color inside. The pitches display the crazing that comes with age and there is a stress crack near the pitcher's spout (please see the pictures). The pitcher, measuring 9.25 inches in height and 4.25 inches in diameter, is a testament to the artistry of antique French pottery.
