Description: Vintage~Corning Ware~Casserole Dish with Lid~2.5 Quarts~Rare Pattern~April Pattern~Roaster, bean, or casserole dish. In very nice condition. I purchased this in 1978 to complete my then set of dishes. This is all I have remaining of the set. I got rid of the dishes many years ago. This April pattern has yellow flowers and green leaves, on white background. The base does not have any cracks or chips, all though is does contain some black residue (on the underside of side handles) from use. The lid is clear glass. The lid does have a chip on the handle, but it has been like that for as long as I can remember. I purchased this in 1978 and have had it ever since. It has been packed away for quite some time and stored in a climate controlled and smoke free workshop/craft room. Measures approx. 12.25" handle to handle, 10.5" length, 8.5" wide, and 4.0" deep. With lid on it measures 6.0" tall. Lid stores nicely upside down into the base. Made of Pyoceram, and is safe for microwave AND oven. Made in Corning, NY, USA.
