Description: Nice set of two antique books released by Clarendon press in 1892. Book one is P. Vergili Maronis Opera. The text is in Latin And the commentary is in English. Some of the pages of the Latin text have words written in mostly pencil and some in pen. The cover boards on both books are decent but a little worn. The bindings are solid . The internal text pages are decent. The front endpapers in both volumes have a small section torn off - probably to remove a name. Volume two has a lot of pencil written notes on the end papers at the front of the book and some pencil and pen notes. Scatter the text also., Pretty good condition overall, especially considering the age of the books
