Vivohome's web site doesn't show model numbers and the jungle site listing could be wrong so we're pricing this with the assumption it's the basic model. (Yes, we COULD cut the tape and look but then it wouldn't be factory-sealed and maybe that's important to someone...) Reviews on the jungle web site reveal some people think the fans create too much noise. Well, yes, all fume removal systems create noise. One reviewer suggested adding a 12V 2A fan control ($12 or so) which has a dial to set the speed. OK, let's think about this. Noise is created by the fan blades "cutting" through the air (cavitation), vibration on the air channel, and the shape of the air channel. Slowing the fans down will reduce noise AND air flow. Be sure you have enough air flow to remove the fumes. You can also reduce noise by having the exhaust air out a window. --==+==-- Basic Terms: Item Condition All items are new, open box, lightly-used, or "for parts."
