In addition, a significantly improved sealing of the sealing surface is achieved through hydrophobic treatment (water-displacing property), and water and moisture can no longer penetrate. The fluid is just as effective for the long-term avoidance and prevention of squeaking and creaking noises from rubber seals in vehicle interiors. The Krytox™ Fluid is silicone-free and therefore non-hardening. Rubber seals remain soft and supple. The lubricant is a high performance, fully fluorinated oil that provides excellent lubrication over a wide temperature range and unmatched chemical resistance. It is used to avoid squeaking and creaking noises and is used wherever permanent and reliable avoidance of background noise is required. This unique base oil is 100% non-flammable and will not support combustion even in 100% liquid or gaseous oxygen environments.
