Description: What an estate find! This is a Mitterteich Bavaria Germany tea set, which features intricate gold filigree design, hand-painted meticulously long ago. Underneath is the green maker's mark and the number 52. The mark dates this set in the period of 1931-1945. The set consists of the following: 1 Teapot and Lid 1 Sugar and Lid 1 Creamer 12 Tea Cups 11 Saucers (I do have the 12th, but it is broken and a piece missing - the buyer can let me know if they want me to ship that too) I see a few small specks of gold loss on the handle to the teapot, and here and there a tiny spot on the other items. Other than that, and the fact that one saucer is missing, the set is in perfect condition - no chips, cracks, or signs of wear. The saucers measure 5 7/8" in diameter The tea pot is 10" long from the edge of the handle to the tip of the spout, and 7" tall to the top of the finial, and just over 5" tall to the rim without the lid. The tea cups are 4" across the mouth, and from the edge of the cup to the opposite side handle tip are 5" in length. They are each 2 1/8" tall. The creamer is 5 7/8" across from tip of the spout to the edge of the handle, and the top of the spout is 3" tall. The sugar bowl is 5 7/8" across from tip of the handle to the other tip. It is 4 1/2" tall to the top of the finial, and 2 7/8" tall without the lid. Please see all pictures for condition and details. Enjoy this rare set!
