Description: Up for your consideration is this vintage LEFTON BIRTHSTONE - FLOWER ANGEL for December. These were imported by George Z Lefton in the 1950's and made in Japan after WW2. This beauty is number twelve out of a set of 12. The angel has the trademark signature, plus the Japan indicating label. They are hand painted, with expressive eyes and rosy cheeks. They are trimmed out in the 24k gold paint on the wings, as well as spackled on the body. They also have that vintage spaghetti look that Lefton, and other manufacturers were known to use in the Mid-Century. This angel is in excellent condition for her age, but I will note that she has had her halo repaired, Other than that I do not see any other damage - poinsettas are not chipped.
