Description: Vintage 1960s Table Lamp CARVED WOOD DUCK DECOY & Genuine WINCHESTER RIFLE GUNSTOCK 29.25" tall to tip of finial, lamp is 17" high from base to neck of socket. Oval wood base is 14" x 10"This lamp is a 3 way lamp, 3 settings [high, medium, low] light when used w a 3 way bulbThis type of lamp was made in the early 1960s, very collectible. This one has a MAGNIFICENTLY carved mallard duck decoy which looks quite realistic. Tiny hand carved details in the feathers and around the eyes. Bill is fantastic. Made with a genuine Winchester rifle gun stock with the original Winchester symbol and cross hatching just below where the trigger would have been. The gun stock is glossy and looks beautifully maintained.What an unusual collectible and a unique conversation piece. An OUTSTANDING lamp. Wood is SOLID [but for small center wiring tunnel] and extremely HEAVY Underside base of lamp has a thick green furniture felt covering it, to protect table surfaces. Not in need of replacing, very clean. A fabulous lamp for a hunter, collector or someone that appreciates Midcentury Modern era vintage lamps and hunting lodge/cottage style- this is a beautiful lamp. Excellent pristine condition, works perfectly. Handmade, top end quality heavy wood lamp. Wood is not scratched, chipped, or damaged in any way. Finish is still glossy and not faded or dry. Comes w original metal finial which intentionally looks like a gun barrel tip at top of lamp. Original brass harp. Original 76" Cord, dark brown with 2 prong style plug. Cord is not brittle, cracked, and is not in need of changing unless the buyer so chooses. Light bulb not included, shown to demonstrate lamp working.
