Description: This is a vintage white cotton twill work jacket/tunic made for Royal British Navy officers to wear in hot climates, in approximately a size medium. This particular jacket likely dates to around the 1950s, or possibly a little before. The jacket is made of a nappy white cotton twill, as mentioned, and features two clasps to the neck, as well as removable buttons down the front. It should be noted that the included buttons are likely not original, possibly dating from the 70s or 80s. The jacket also features two front pockets on the chest. There is a tag on the inside of the jacket, but it is washed out and illegible, you can see it in the photos above the 'B-3' mark. There is writing on the inside of the jacket, including the Broad Arrow, likely denoting this particular jacket as British military surplus. This jacket fits somewhere between a size small and medium, but check the measurements below before purchasing.
