Description: Vintage 1950s United Airlines Air Freight Posters, Booklet, & Notes, Ad Agency Mockup Plane Art. This collection of Vintage United Airlines stuff is really cool. You’ll get all of these one-of-a-kind pieces that you see pictured. These came from an old advertising agency here in Hollywood California. We have a huge collection of a variety of stuff coming up. There are four thick art board posters with hand painted graphics, numbers and lettering and a hand painted cel. They measure 28" across and are 22" tall from the top to the bottom. Two have an extra piece at the bottom that flips down. One poster has a green map with a clear plastic hand painted cel that goes over it with lines to different cities. There are notes on some of the boards on what to fix or change about them. There is a poster that reads Comparison of Total Costs of Distribution. It has some cool hand painted art on it. The next poster is Total Costs of Distribution, Warehouse vs. Air Freight. Next is a Profit Pan, Proposed Distribution Plan with Areas Affected and numbers (present, % of sales, proposed and % of sales). It has a piece of clear cellophane that flips over it to protect the portions written in pencil. You will also get a United Air Lines Air Freight Booklet. Air Freight, Memorandum Tariff. It has some great photos, planes and information inside. And last, but not least, are some original notes from the ad agency dated December 10, 1957. The notes have info about the cards/posters and explains in detail about what should be on them and what needs to be corrected. The collection is in overall good/very good condition showing vintage age as shown (some tape on the back of one poster). The items will be well packed and shipped media mail.
