Description: I purchased this at private sale maybe 20 years ago, the woman I bought it from told me she was a former girlfriend of Jeff Skunk Baxter and that this was his. He played with Steely Dan and the Doobie Brothers in the 1970's.I have no other documentation other than her word, I had no reason not to believe her, as I had bought many other cool period pieces from her.This jacket is so awesome, the bodice is wide wale corduroy embellished with thick silk cording, trim and brass buttons. The sleeves are a billowy rust colored thick satin. The inside is lined and this hand crafted.It measures laid flat 20 1/2" across the chest pit to pit, 19" long, 27" sleeves and 16" between the back shoulder seams.It is in overall good vintage condition for belonging to a rock star. There is some light soiling and tiny holes and spots on the sleeves, some missing trim, but this is very solid and very wearable and will make a fine addition to any collection.
