Description: For your consideration is this original Antique 8" Metal Lobster, Crab, Trap, or Net Buoy Float. This is in its original untouched condition with amazing real patina.The entire float is metal and I believe it to possibly be brass, as it is not magnetic in any way.It has no dents or holes, but does have the original thick weld lines. The float is 8" across, including the double line holes.The ball itself is about 7" across.The float weighs just over 2 pounds, at 2 pounds 2 ounces. It is a very nice and unique example of early nautical and fishing ingenuity.
