Description: This vintage Creative Playthings finger puppet set was made in 1967, hand crafted in Korea and sold in Princeton, NJ. The set comes in a box that originally contained "people" finger puppets but there are also animals in the set so this appears to be a combination of 2 sets. The puppets have hand crafted, polished hardwood heads that are hand painted, vinyl ears and fabric bodies. They average about 3 1/4" long. The set contains; 2 cows (one is missing his ears), 2 men, 2 donkeys, a cat, a dog and a mouse head missing the fabric body. The fabric has some fraying along the bottom edges. The ears have curled some with age but the puppets are in generally good condition. The original box is included and has wear. The 4 lid sides have been taped. Please view all photos to see condition. Nice collectible mid-century set of toys that doesn't need to be plugged in to have fun. Still quite useable and a great way to stimulate creativity in children. Very rare set to find.
